CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Confirm authorization for patient treatment
• Ensure updated clinical coding and assist with the case management process as required
• Interpretation and implementation of scheme benefit rules
• Administer pre-admission and admission process
• Administration of the creditors and invoices
• Assisting with reception and admission duties as necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum requirement: Grade 12
• At least 2 years administration experience in a medical facility
• Understanding of medical schemes and admission processes required
• Knowledge of the AS400 system will be advantageous
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office / Outlook and have good typing skills
