    Consumer Insights Trainee

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide support in the planning and execution of all Consumer Insights projects. The SCI trainee will work closely with the regional SCI manager, Sensory Panel leader and SBU (strategic business unit) team to ensure that project design and outcomes meet business objectives timely.
    • Provide effective and timely support to consumer insights projects and activities for the market to meet business objectives.
    • Support with qualitative and quantitative research projects, including focus groups, usage and attitude studies, concept testing and product testing.
    • Contribute to the identification, analysis and interpretation of CI results and consumer understanding and present them to internal and external clients in a professional manner.
    • To proactively foster relationship with the Business Development and Marketing teams to develop new concepts and business opportunities coming from consumer insights.
    • Coordinates assigned market research projects for relevant categories, focusing on the needs of internal and external clients.
    • Liaise with internal functions & external research agencies to organize product tests when or as needed
    • Assist Sensory Panel leader with test setups, data capturing and training sessions

    We Value

    • Graduate in Food Technology, Food Science or Social Science.
    • Experience in qualitative and quantitative consumer research, Curious about consumer insights / changing consumer behaviors / trends to drive unmet needs into business opportunities.
    • Sensory panel training background an advantage.
    • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power point) and computer presentation tools. Practical knowledge of statistical applications such as XLSTAT an advantage.
    • Collaborative team worker, passionate, results driven, well organised and analytical, creative, able to function independently when required
