    Contract Administrator

    About the job
    Contract Administrator/Specialist with experience in the Mining Industry needed to coordinate and review the formulation and finalization of contracts as required in coordination with management and Legal staff and ensure compliance of appropriate regulations. Also to research and prepare analysis as required. Challenging career opportunity at dynamic project consulting company based in PTA, to be full time based on site in Lephalale. Must be a local Lephalale resident. Renewable contract with excellent career development prospects in mega project environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, assist and run with contract meetings.
    • Direct activities concerned with contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, or services
    • Assist with claim evaluations
    • Examine performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimate of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy.
    • Write memorandums, letters and site instructions with assistance from Contract Managers/Project Managers
    • Handle claim evaluations if needed.
    • Track and monitor progress on all areas relevant to the contract.
    • Update and track claims, letters, quotes, notification registers and contract modifications.
    • Assist and guide contractors as and when needed.
    • Assist Supply Chain- Contract- and Project Manager where needed
    • Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include all items as per the approved contract file index
    • Perform closing activities of the contract as needed.
    • Prepare and disseminate information to the appropriate resources regarding contract status.
    • Analyze and mitigate risk together with the relevant Managers
    • Make sure process is followed

    Market related salary taking in account experience and qualifications

    Must live in Lephalale
