    Contract Performance Analyst Africa

    Main Purpose:

    The main purpose of the position is to:

    • Coordinate the execution of contracts
    • Digitalisation of contracts once executed and performance monitoring
    • Be the subject matter expert in contract management post execution
    • Provide guidance and support to all countries and divisions of the department

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Contracts management review

    • Support countries and divisions in conducting comprehensive review of existing contracts including performance metrics to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams in legal, procurement, finance, credit, tax, commercial and the department divisions (Operations, Transport, Lubricants) to ensure effectiveness of Puma Energy contract management processes, practices, policies and procedures.
    • Working closely with the Legal contract administrative hub for contract execution
    • Manage a comprehensive and accurate contract administration database, including amendment.

    Contract risk management

    • Analyse contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate or manage them
    • Ensure compliance with Puma Energy frameworks for consistency and standardization across the Company
    • Support in drafting and negotiating with vendors, suppliers by procuring the required information and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
    • Provide guidance and support in understanding operational aspects on contractual issues, dispute resolution and risk management strategies
    • Conduct risk assessment and audits to identify areas of improvement in contract management process.
