Coordinator Master Data - Johannesburg at South32

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Coordinator Master Data, you will be responsible to provide support, coordination and administration for the activities of the Master Data Services function within GBS and to process Notifications and manage Master Data activities with timely, accurate and customer-focused execution for South32

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Accurately file all source documents received ensuring a comprehensive evidence trail of all transactions performed;
• Develop supportive relationships with team members, and demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities;
• Ensure all queries and cases are managed on time, accurately and within defined Service Level Definitions;
• Ensure governance protocols of Global Business Services Master Data (MD) requests are followed;
• Govern all central Master Data changes in accordance with agreed quality standards, ensuring Master Data Integrity;
• Identify and quantify opportunities to improve quality of all Master Data or Master Data Standards and once approved, drive their execution;
• Liaise with the respective Business Process Leads where required;
• Liaise with the MD requestors and/or approvers to clarify Master Data request or follow-up on a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activity where required.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in a Shared Services Environment;
• Experience within a large Global organisation would be beneficial;
• Solid understanding of relevant SAP Modules (e.g. Finance/ HR/ Supply);
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Qualifications for this role are:

• National Advanced Certificate (2 years) or Equivalent.
