Copywriter - Cape Town at Weylandts Furniture Cape Town (Pty) Ltd

The copywriter is responsible to create and maintain the tone of the company through all copy touch points. Copy will need to be created for Social media, E-mailers, Catalogs, Website, Range Cards, Tags, Product descriptions, Print, Billboards and in-store installations. The successful candidate will join the creative team in brainstorming, bringing ideas to the table and understanding the vision of the brand.

Main accountabilities: 

• Maintaining a consistent ‘tone’ for Weylandts brand in all marketing communication.
• Producing effective copy for e-mailers, social media platforms, digital advertising, and web. 
• Assisting the creative team with conceptualizing ideas for social media & other digital campaigns.
• Producing copy for selected product on the Weylandts website.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years Social Media experience for well-known brands
• Minimum 2 years Copywriter experience for well-known brands
• Good all-round digital knowledge
• Experience and understanding of retail environment.
• Passion for and experience in the décor industry, trends, and the premium retail market
