Minimum Requirements
LLB Degree
Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
3–5 years' solid post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial Law
Proven experience in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and/or project finance transactions
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in client engagement and relationship management
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and legal documents
Advise clients on corporate and commercial law matters
Assist with and manage corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructures, and project finance transactions
Draft and review:
Sale of Business Agreements
Sale of Shares Agreements
Shareholders Agreements
Partnership Agreements
Memoranda of Incorporation (MOIs)
Commercial contracts and related transaction documents
Conduct legal research and provide practical legal advice
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including the Companies Act and related regulatory requirements
Manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team
