The core responsibilities of the position are split into four stages – Deal management and preparation, deal execution and presentation, post deal implementation and lastly overall input towards credit projects, personal development as well as where needed client visits.
Understanding the industry dynamics and market trends relevant to the client’s business is essential, adding value to credit committee presentation and discussions.
Ensure that credit decisions adhere to the company’s credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Based on the analysis, credit analysts make recommendations regarding credit limits, terms, and conditions for extending credit to corporate clients.
Conducting thorough due diligence on potential client is essential to assess their creditworthiness accurately. This may involve reviewing legal documents, conducting site visits, and obtaining information from third-party sources.
Articulating accurately the risk implications of change requests related to previously approved transactions.

Qualifications
Bcom degree with Finance and/or Mathematics, Accounting as a subject(s)
Post degree qualification could be advantageous.
Driver’s License (Code 08)
Clean Credit Record
Experience
Minimum 4 years working knowledge of credit risk management, within the commercial/ corporate sector.
Familiar with National Credit Act
