    Creative Services Manager

    The Marketing Services Creative Manager will be responsible and accountable for the leadership and management of the creative and editing processes and team of designers to deliver meaningful, quality and relevant print and digital animation content from conceptualisation to publication (pipeline of brainstorming, assignment, production, editing, and publication) with the aim of driving increased traffic and brand visibility, delivering against project briefs, and company standards.

    Education

    • 3-Year Bachelor€™s degree / Diploma in marketing, graphic design

    Experience

    • 10 years€™ experience following a path through the ranks of the industry from designer / copywriter through to management levels.
    • Experience should include 5 years working within an editorial role and 2 years in a supervisory / management capacity
    • A proven blend of editorial skills, advertising, creative design and digital animation experience, preferably obtained in an agency environment
    • A proven track record of managing successful creative design and multi-discipline teams

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Ability to write, proofread and edit accurate, concise and highly readable content.

    • Exposure / knowledge of the hotel and gaming industry is a strong advantage

    Key Performance Areas

    • Facilitate the functioning of the organisation€™s internal creative design €œagency€ to develop and deliver creative artwork to support marketing across business functions for the Group
    • Keep up to date with current and future design methodologies and marketing strategies in the business and creative and animation design environments
    • Manage investigations and analyses into potential graphic and animation graphic innovations to grow the business delivery and streamline processes
    • Provide innovative solutions for the delivery of marketing services objectives
    • Benchmark current graphic and digital animation design content and methodologies against future strategic requirements
    • Understand market segment and customers characteristics and preferences
    • Develop plans for generating meaningful content to drive increased traffic, engagement and brand visibility.
    • Conceptualise, plan and ensure synergies are created between design content for various projects
    • Be an ideas bank of new innovation and concepts to be used as a foundation for content for various online channels in line with business requirements
    • Lead the implementation of design strategies through editorial calendars across all relevant marketing channels and platforms.
    • Conducts Financial Viability and Feasibility Studies with regards implementation
    • Conduct risk analysis i.t.o impact on short term profit margins vs. long term sustainability
    • Introduce graphic and animation tools, and access to relevant content that enable a series of creative opportunities for marketing services
    • Influences present and future products, services, platforms and content management by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
    • Elicit new business opportunities and leverage relationships to promote revenues; competitive edge and business growth
    • Clearly define and delegate plans, authority and accountability across the team
    • Manage people and non-people resources to ensure team effectiveness
    • Measure the success of campaigns and platforms through analytics and provide reports and insights in this regard
    • Attends occasional events to support real-time and wrap-up coverage.
