    Curriculum Specialist (Applied Psychology)

    This role is situated in SACAP’s Head Office, but the candidate can be physically located in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria or Durban.  

    The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include: 

    • Collaborate with educators, industry experts, and educational leaders to develop, evaluate, and revise curricula within the Applied Psychology Faculty.  
    • Ensure SACAP's programmes and modules remain cutting-edge, research-informed, and aligned with industry needs.  
    • Seamlessly integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and applications into the Applied Psychology curriculum.  
    • Formulate and implement institutional strategies for curriculum development and assessment design.  
    • Foster collaboration between the institutional Academic Programme Development Team.  
    • Work closely with the Head Librarian and Senior Academic Programme Developers to shape SACAP's institutional resource and copyright strategy, including curriculum-related monitoring.  

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A minimum of a master's degree in psychology with a strong interest in Educational Technology and AI.
    • Demonstrate experience in curriculum and assessment development in higher education.
    • Experience in learning design would be an advantage. 
    • Excellent communication and people management skills.
    • Experience in academic setting with a demonstrated passion for innovative education.
