You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention in the Manufacturing Sector.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position involves managing the customer lifecycle from initial inquiry through to order dispatch and distribution. You must establish trust with both internal and external customers by understanding their needs and ensuring they are consistently met and exceeded.
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of Grade 12 is essential, with a post-matric qualification being advantageous.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer service environment, internal sales, or administrative role in the manufacturing sector is required.
The role demands a comprehensive understanding of the production process, including sales, estimating, order entry, planning, warehousing, quality assurance, dispatch, and distribution.
Skills:
Proficiency in PC skills, particularly MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), is essential.
Experience with MIS packages like CERM is highly desirable.
Excellent oral, written, and interactive communication skills are crucial.
You are customer-focused, reliable, and possess a "can do" attitude.
A highly responsive, results-driven, and well-organized approach is necessary, along with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Key responsibilities
include processing customer purchase orders accurately, generating quote requisitions, and ensuring timely delivery of quotes and orders. You will also monitor and track orders through the company’s system to achieve on-time deliveries within industry standards.
