Data Controller - REF: DATCONT -JW382/2023 at Johannesburg Water

PURPOSE

Check accuracy and submission of documented data, capturing of data from call in/walk-in customers, asset costing, work orders and other Johannesburg Water management documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately capture the first phase of the core data that comes through the SAP system (plant maintenance) and route /assign works order to responsible foreman / operations manager.
• Rectify data errors on the SAP PM system to enable depots to complete the transaction and to improve quality.
• Assist with walk-in and call in customers to create Work Orders.
• Assist artisan when foreman is not available to assign work orders.
• Keep depot staff (Ops Manager/Foreman) informed on data – related matters.
• Highlight captured errors to depot staff (Ops Manager/Foreman) and assists them to rectify errors.
• Interact with relevant departments on water/sewer related data.
• Filing of correspondence on a daily basis.
• Relieve the switchboard/Receptionist as and when required.
• Assist the IMIS Administrator as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications and experience

• Grade 12 or N3 (NQF 4)
• 3 years’ experience in Data capturing.
• Experience in SAP
