MTS's client is seeking a Data Science and Analytics Manager for a client in the Healthcare industry to lead the clients' data team in driving insights and decision-making through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python or R, along with expertise in analytics/ML libraries, data processing, and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing data projects, implementing machine learning models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data-driven strategies.
Inherent Requirements
At least 10 years of hands-on involvement in data science projects, including managing large-scale initiatives and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Degree (Honours, Masters or PHD) in quantitative fields such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and/or combination of these.
Proven expertise in data science technologies such as Python, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, Spark, big data ecosystems, machine learning frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of Python or R and common analytics/ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy), as well as a proven track record using Jupyter notebooks. Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets are essential.
Demonstrated ability to apply statistical machine learning techniques to predictive modeling, delivering measurable value.
