• We are currently in search of a Data Scientist to plan, build, optimise and implement innovative quantitative analytical methodologies, procedures, products and advanced mathematical models that provide analytical support and interpret insights, using advanced analytics technologies, to address business opportunities and problems and implement business strategy.

Are you a data scientist who can:

• Take a hands-on approach to solving challenges, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative techniques.
• Work with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI, applying and fine-tuning cutting-edge methodologies.
• Develop and optimize machine learning models, including natural language understanding (NLU) techniques such as embedding models, transformer architectures, and sequence-to-sequence learning.
• Apply techniques like word embeddings (Word2Vec, GloVe, FastText), sentence embeddings, and contextual embeddings (BERT, RoBERTa, T5) to enhance language comprehension and downstream AI applications.
• Drive projects independently, translating business problems into AI-powered solutions with measurable impact.
• Stay curious and adaptable, continuously learning and improving in a fast-paced, evolving field.
• Translate business requirements into effective AI models, ensuring they align with strategic goals and business impact.
• Build, test, and deploy advanced analytical models that enhance decision-making, reduce risks, lower costs, and optimize efficiency.

We are looking for:

• A degree in a relevant field such as: BSc/MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience within data science.

Hands-on experience with:

• Python for data science, machine learning, and model development.
• Writing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets using SQL/SAS tools.
• Developing AI-powered workflows using CrewAI, Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate), and orchestration tools.
• Monitoring and visualizing model performance with Grafana, MLflow, or similar analytics platforms.
• A solid understanding of machine learning principles, including neural networks, model optimization, and deployment best practices.
