Grade 12 plus an appropriate NQF level 6 qualification in Natural Resource Management / Environmental Management / Project Management / Agricultural Management or equivalent appropriate tertiary qualification as recognised by SAQA. Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience of which three (3) must be Assistant Director level in EPWP environment. A valid driver’s licence (with the exception of people with disabilities).

Understanding of governmental service delivery environment, teamwork, PFMA, LRA, IDPS, LEGDP, land care, conflict Resolution, Community development. Project Management. Good interpersonal relations; Computer proficiency; Report writing; Negotiation skills; People Management; Financial Management; Problem Solving; Planning & organizing; Time Management; Strategic Planning; Policy analysis and development. DUTIES :
Manage the coordination of EPWP functions to sector departments and municipalities. Manage the reporting of job opportunities created through EPWP within the departmental programmes. Manage coordination of the development and implementation of sector training and capacity building plans. Manage coordination on the rehabilitation of agricultural land through EPWP interventions. Manage and utilise resources (human and physical) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
