Undergraduate qualification in Investment Management/ Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ an investment-related field of study at NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA. Five (5) years working experience, of which three (3) years must be functional operational experience in an investment environment and two (2) years at an Assistant Director/Junior Management level in an investment environment.
DUTIES:
Manage investment portfolio services and ensure alignment with investment- related prescripts, legislation, and policies. Manage investment accounting, valuation, and disclosure in accordance with GRAP standards. Monitor investment risk management, linking actuarial risk appetite, tolerance, duration to investment portfolio limits, exposures, and duration. Ensure governance, compliance, and reporting, to internal and external oversight structures and stakeholders. Manage financial, human, and physical resources of the Sub-directorate.
