Initiate and provide strategic direction in the implementation and promotion of employment relations programmes and interventions.
Manage finalisation of all grievances and complaints received from employees in the Department.
Manage finalisation of all misconduct cases in the Department. Provide training and advocacy on labour related matters in the Department.
Facilitate and provide a secretariat function to the Departmental Appeals Authority.
Manage resources within Employment Relations Unit. Implement strategic, dynamic and proactive labour relations programmes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Labour Relations / Labour Law plus three to five (3-5) years’ experience in the same field as Assistant Director. A valid driver’s License (except for persons with disabilities).
