Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus an undergraduate relevant qualification (NQF Level 7) in Finance / Financial Management / Management Accounting / Auditing as recognized by SAQA. At least a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience at supervisory / management level (ASD). Knowledge: Departmental policies and procedures.
Duties
Receive, analyse and interpret all incoming correspondence, channel it to relevant components for attention and make follow-ups where necessary, Compile reports, act as Secretary during meetings and manage the budget of the CFO’s office. Co-ordinate and facilitate the compilation of annual estimates for the CFO’s Office. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans. Ensure compliance with all legal frameworks and execute any other task as directed by the CFO. Maintain confidentiality and promote the image of the CFO’s office. Responsible for coordinating and consolidation of various submissions to oversight bodies. Assist in preparing and maintaining the progress of the audit action plan. Facilitate and Reconcile audit information.
