Deputy Director: Transport Planning, Policy and Research: Head Office - Polokwane at The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety

key Performance Areas

• Manage the development, maintenance and monitoring of Transport Plans i.e. Integrated Transport Plans (ITP’s), Provincial Land Transport Framework (PLTF’s) etc.
• Manage identification of transport research needs
• Manage provincial transport forums
• Manage the implementation of integrated public transport networks

Prerequisites

• An undergraduate qualification NQF level 6 or equivalent qualification in one of the following ; Transport Planning, Transport Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Transport Economics, Transport Engineering or Transport Operations, as recognized by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
• A NQF level 7 qualification in any of the above will be an added advantage
• Five (5) years’ experience of which three (3) years must be at Junior Management / Assistant Director level in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license (with exception of persons with disability).
