key Performance Areas

• Manage the registration and licensing of public transport and transport operations
• Manage transport operator conflicts
• Monitor transport operator safety and compliance
• Monitor implementation of rural transport strategy

Prerequisites

• An undergraduate qualification NQF level 6 or equivalent qualification in one of the following: Transport Planning ,Transport Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Transport Economics ,Transport Engineering or Transport Operations, as recognized by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
• A NQF level 7 qualification in any of the above will be an added advantage
• Five (5) years’ experience of which three (3) years must be at Junior Management / Assistant Director level in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license (with exception of persons with disability).
