    Design Logistics Officer

    Job Purpose

    Manage the critical path for the SAGA region for all print and promotional material including pharmacy branding, logistics, signage across all business units.  Route artwork files for pharmacy branding and trade material through internal departments for timeous sign-off.  Liaise, co-ordinate and manage vendors including but not limited to: quotations, timelines, accuracy of design, quality ensuring that all elements are on time, on budget and on quality. Rigid adherence to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures for amongst others Packaging, Promotional material and pharmacy branding.

    Accountabilities-1

    Management of Pharmacy Branding Logistics

    • Manage branding of pharmacies on record for Cipla SA.
    • Manage process from sign-off of contract between relevant commercial team and pharmacy to completion and installation of branding.
    • Manage the relevant area-vendor with accurate dimensions of areas (within the pharmacy) to be branded (including photographs)
    • Maintain repository of photographs and pharmacy branding on Elvis.
    • Brief in the specific design requirements as per pharmacy dimensions to the Lead: Rx Art Direction and the Lead: OTC Creative Direction
    • Manage end to end sign off process with pharmacist approval.
    • Manage installation with relevant vendors at relevant pharmacies timeously
    • Deliver custom rebranding process with relevant pharmacies as briefed by commercial.
    • Management and reporting of agreed metrics
    • Compliance to brand guidelines (corporate and product specific) for all pharmacy signage.

    Accountabilities-2

    End to End Logistics:  Print and Promotional material

     Print / Promotional Material

    • Own specifications from designers and create alignment with the quote: ensuring the accurate reflection of the correct colour separation and finish.
    • Functionally manage the order process for material and artwork (relevant supplier in the correct format).  
    • Manage the receipt and sign off of stock samples as per brief
    • Facilitate the choice process with Designers in choosing the best and most cost -effective print option ranging from board, varnish, finishes and colour separation.
    • Deliver input to solutions for point-of-sale and other promotional materials ensuring alignment with marketing strategies.

    Stock Control

    • End to End control & management of stock - pharmacy branding collateral.

    Compliance to Digital Dashboard & Metrics

    • Compliance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) utilising Wrike, Elvis and any other systems required by the business.
    • Full Project management of all pharmacy branding and print and promotional processes with defined parameters
    • Provide mitigation solutions to constraints (time, budget, vendors etc

    Education Qualification

    • Relevant Diploma qualification
    • Knowledge of design studio environment and relevant processes
    • Good understanding of repro and print processes
    • Project management qualification advantageous

    Relevant Work Experience

    • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar logistics role
    • Pharmaceutical sector experience preferred
    • Knowledge of design studio environment and relevant processes is advantageous
    • Good understanding of repro and print processes
    • Project management experience preferred
    • Packaging and promotional print experience preferred
