Digital Media Planning and Billing at Vodacom

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hydrid media accountant responsible allocation of key media functions such as payment allocations, raising PO’s, reconciliations and vendor management

 Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing PO’s
• Reconciliation of media spends
• Vendor management
• Assist with media planning
• Internal stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

• 3-year Business related Degree or National Diploma

Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data;

• Assist with media and financial reports
• Assist the media strategists with buying and planning of media placements.
• Loading of Media PO’s
• Ensuring vendors such as Facebook, Google, Twitter etc.. are paid on time each month.
• Assist with the management of media stakeholders
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
