The Role
To implement Sandvik’s digital tools to drive digital transformation for the Rock Tools division throughout Sales Area Southern Africa
Main responsibilities:
Map potential sites for implementation of Rock Tools product performance measuring system
Review the current level of implementation and develop plans for the roll out of the Rock Tools product performance measuring system
Set up and implement the Rock Tools product performance measuring system
Train and support end users on the performance measuring system and conduct regular audits on data integrity
Identify system enhancements and liaise with the developers on changes required for the system
Draw out and disseminate reports to the relevant stakeholders to drive business decisions within the division
Your Profile:
3year technical or business Diploma
Information Technology or Computer Science or similar qualification will be advantageous
3 years product application experience in rock tools within the drilling industry.
Experience in application development will be advantageous.
Physical and medical ability to work in a mining environment
Willingness to travel extensively
Computer literacy
Valid driver’s licence
