Digitalization Specialist - P1 at Sandvik

The Role

To implement Sandvik’s digital tools to drive digital transformation for the Rock Tools division throughout Sales Area Southern Africa

Main responsibilities:

• Map potential sites for implementation of Rock Tools product performance measuring system

• Review the current level of implementation and develop plans for the roll out of the Rock Tools product performance measuring system

• Set up and implement the Rock Tools product performance measuring system

• Train and support end users on the performance measuring system and conduct regular audits on data integrity

• Identify system enhancements and liaise with the developers on changes required for the system

• Draw out and disseminate reports to the relevant stakeholders to drive business decisions within the division

Your Profile:

• 3year technical or business Diploma

• Information Technology or Computer Science or similar qualification will be advantageous

• 3 years product application experience in rock tools within the drilling industry.

• Experience in application development will be advantageous.

• Physical and medical ability to work in a mining environment

• Willingness to travel extensively

• Computer literacy

• Valid driver’s licence
