Dir, Compliance at IQVIA

The Director, Compliance, is responsible for implementation of IQVIA’s global healthcare compliance (HCC) and anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC) compliance. Establishes standards and implements procedures to help ensure compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and remedying non-compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies and procedures; and helps drive an ethical culture of doing the right thing.

• To oversee and direct strategic and operational initiatives for the ethics and compliance office for the Sub Saharan Africa / Middle East region.
• Ensure the compliance of IQVIA processes, systems and projects with the applicable regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Report compliance metrics to management; manage process improvement and standardisation practices within the function and co-ordinate the development of SOPs.
• Advice management on policy and compliance related issues in accordance with company policies, laws and regulations; provide compliance training to employees as necessary.
• Assist BD teams with responses to RFP compliance related questions.
• Work closely with all company departments including but not exclusively HR and finance.
• Manage compliance activities for acquisitions and integrations.
• Provide compliance and ethics leadership within the region
