    Director - Centre of Excellence

    About the Job
    This is a key leadership role within our Africa and Middle East Business. As part of Services leadership team this colleague is accountable for directing and managing the regional Centre of Excellence in line with global guidelines and Sage VSGM’s. This role will look after the Centre of Excellence, consisting of Medium Segment Accounting, Medium Segment Payroll, Managed Services, and Project Office and is responsible for setting the strategy and delivering against defined and agreed KPIs.

     

    •  To develop a clear Centre of Excellence strategy, which is fully aligned to our global strategy and drives the vision of becoming a world class SaaS company.
    •  To build a strong leadership team who will effectively deliver on the strategy and the objectives of the Centre of Excellence, utilising both colleagues and cross-functional teams to drive a high performing culture.
    •  To have a strong understanding of the external market environment, particularly the Sage Partner eco-system. To fully understand our customers, their challenges and how the services offered can benefit them.
    •  Full ownership of the AME Centre of Excellence.
    •  Drive utilization at required levels, whilst making sure that our partners are supported in an appropriate way.
    •  Provide strategic thought leadership to the Centre of Excellence and the overall Services leadership team.
    •  To be a Transformational Leader, to effectively lead your people through change, inspiring and motivating them whilst not compromising on results.
    •  To be a role model for your peers and your colleagues. To bring to life the Sage Values and Leadership behaviours in every aspect of your role.


    Skills, know-how and experience:

    Must have:

    •  Strong communicator who can build long-lasting relationships with stakeholders in AME and Globally, both internally and externally.
    •  Ability to think strategically, and positively influence business direction.
    •  Driven by Sage’s strategy and VSGMs
    •  Proven ability to build a high performing team and reaching of targets.
    •  A curiosity to understand our business and our customers / partners
    •  Celebrates Success

    •  Problem Solver
    •  Passionate about Sage, our customers, our partners, and our colleagues

    Preferred:

    •  Previous experience in a similar role is essential. With at least 3-5 years’ operating at Director level covering Africa and Middle East regions.
    •  Africa and Middle East consulting management experience essential
