Director: Regional Court Operations Support at Department of Justice and Constitutional Development

REQUIREMENTS :

• An NQF level 7 legal qualification / LLB Degree as recognised by SAQA; 5 years of experience at middle/senior managerial. Public Service Act, the Public Service Regulations, Treasury Regulations, the Public Finance Management Act; Interpretation of statutes; Knowledge of Criminal, Civil and family cases; Knowledge of Constitutional law cases; Knowledge of courts operations.
• Skills and Competencies: Interpretation of statues. Strategic capability and leadership; Programme and project management; Financial management; Change management. Service Delivery Innovation (SDI); Problem solving and analysis; People management and empowerment; Client orientation and customer focus; Communication skills; Honesty and integrity; Computer literacy. 

DUTIES :

• Facilitate the implementation of policy framework and programmes in support of lower courts;
• Develop and monitor Regional Court processes and standard operating systems and procedures;
• Develop and monitor Regional Court and Small Claims Courts efficiency programmes and projects;
• Develop and monitor transcription support services for the Regional Courts;
• Provide strategic management of human. financial and physical resources.
