Distributor Account Manager (DBN) at Boardroom Appointments

• We're looking for an experienced Distributor Account Manager to lead the growth and performance of a national distributor network within the industrial lubricants industry.
• This is far more than traditional account management—you'll coach distributors, drive commercial excellence, improve market penetration and build winning growth strategies.

Your responsibilities

• Manage strategic distributor partnerships
• Develop and execute joint business plans
• Grow distributor sales and profitability
• Coach distributor sales teams on value selling
• Identify new market opportunities
• Expand channel coverage
• Manage pricing and commercial negotiations
• Drive marketing initiatives through distributors
• Improve distributor capability and performance
• Achieve volume, revenue and margin targets

You'll need

• Around 10 years' sales or distributor management experience
• Industrial B2B or lubricants industry experience
• Strong distributor or channel management background
• Excellent commercial negotiation skills
• Proven history of delivering sales growth
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience managing multiple distributor relationships
• Willingness to travel extensively
