Job Advert Summary    
An opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Head: Technical. Reporting to the COO, this role is responsible for small to medium projects.  It ensures projects are completed within the time and cost limit as well as to the agreed specifications. Responsible for co-ordinating the different groups involved in the project. Ensures detailed engineering layout is carried out in an economically efficient way. Reports progress of project on a monthly basis. Establishes and maintains relationships with clients. Minimum Requirements    

• 4 year Degree / NQF level 7, Advanced Technical and or suitable trade qualifications
• Up to 6 years’ experience

Duties & Responsibilities    

• To achieve ongoing improvements in preventative maintenance practices for all vehicles and in the business 
• Ensure world class Health, Safety and Technical Standards are maintained at all times 
• Be able to provide accurate electronic technical situation reports that provide clear feedback, following problem analysis conducted at contracts 
• To assist in controlling maintenance costs 
• Will be required to operate remotely and use initiative to provide technical intervention or assistance on site 
• To continuously improve on skills levels and workshop standards so as to maximize fleet availability 
• Will be required to attend formal technical meetings with suppliers to address concerns raised at contracts 
• May need to represent the company's interests in disputes with suppliers 
• Must be able to communicate clearly internally and externally 
• Capex reconciliation and control
