Job Advert Summary    

• The purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and position goods within the designated work areas, in accordance with operational instructions, safety procedures, and company standards.                                                                                                                                                             

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level 
• Professional registration – Forklift license
• Business English: Fluent
• Work in extreme conditions
• Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities    
Operate forklift and move pallets of stock  

• Move stock to and from shelves and vehicles 
• Comply with safety procedures 
• Inspect forkliftwhen signing in and out  
• Report on all damages 
• Move completed pallet to desired destination 
• Adhere to housekeeping standards 

Operate a scanner  

• Receive and action tasks using scanner 
• Print PCL & affix his unique sticker thereon
