    e-Learning Structural Designer and Development Analyst

    Purpose

    • In order to increase our effectiveness in helping people improve their lives through learning, we are looking for Producer/Designer to work closely with the Central Academic Team to develop digital assets that are engaging and appropriate; support instructional designs best practices, and are technologically compatible and current.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conceptualise, create and/or assemble multimedia digital assets in close collaboration with in-house and external content developers
    • Brief external content creators/vendors/partners on the creation of digital content (digital assets, ePubs)
    • Project manage the production of digital content with both internal teams and external vendors
    • Be responsible for quality assurance (select content checks, functional and technical standards) on digital content produced internally or through external vendors
    • Ensure that all digital content commissioned, developed and delivered meets prescribed deployment requirements and accepted industry standards
    • Be a source of expertise on the end-to-end production of digital content for both internal teams and external partners

    Experience

    • 2 - 3 years experience in digital content development
    • Evidence of managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Evident knowledge of current technologies
    • Evident knowledge of current authoring tools & environments
    • Portfolio of evidence must be provided

    Ideal Experience

    • Proven experience working in an educational context
    • Instructional Design qualification or proven experience
    • Visual Design qualification or proven ability

    Technical Languages that would be an advantage

    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • jQuery
    • Javascript
    • knowledge ePub3

    Qualification
    Relevant three-year degree or diploma

    • Alternately, proven industry experience relevant to the position
