We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Development (ECD) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development and education, and a genuine love for working with young children. The ECD Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children, planning and implementing developmentally-appropriate activities, and building positive relationships with parents and caregivers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/caregivers about their child's development
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment
Attend staff meetings, professional development trainings, and parent-teacher conferences as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Patience, creativity, and a love for working with children
