Electrical Engineering Manager at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and plans to support mining operations.
• Manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to identify and address any issues or potential risks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of electrical engineering plans with overall business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to improve efficiency and productivity in electrical operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards and regulations.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical system reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• BSc degree/Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Government Certificate of Competency
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng)
• 15 years of proven heavy electrical experience
• At least 10 years' experience in the heavy engineering field
• 5 years is solid project management related experience.
• Specialist knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Project Management.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment used in mining operations.
