Purpose of the Job:
To give input and be the backup to the Instrumentation Engineer on the electrical aspects of the planned factory improvement CAPEX projects for this year.
Overview:
Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of electrical projects.
Applying electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, and circuitry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
Developing electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
Designing electrical systems by developing and testing components.
Ensuring project completion by conducting electrical tests, observing and controlling systems’ performance.
Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Keeping equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures, requesting repair service when necessary.
Maintaining project database by writing computer programs, entering data, and completing backups.
Preparing project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
