Electronic Technician at SydSen Recruit

Requirements: 

• 3+ Years' proven experience as a Electronic Technician.
• Valid South African Passport.
• Excellent employment references.
• Fluent in English.
• Certificate in Electrical Infrastructure Construction or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Light Current) or related field.
• Any courses in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Electronic Circuit Design and Repair, Industrial Electronics, Basic and Advanced Soldering Techniques, Instrumentation and Process Control, Fault Finding and Diagnostics, Embedded Systems (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi), Health and Safety in Electrical Work (e.g., First-Aid, Working at Heights), Fiber Optic Installation and Testing, Networking Basics (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA fundamentals), Electrical Drawing and Schematics Reading, Electrical Installation Regulations (SANS 10142) will be advantageous.
• Stong knowledge of electronic systems, circuit boards, and diagnostic tools.
• Willing to relocate to the Middle East.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Inspect systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on electrical systems and devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Install wiring systems, control panels, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on installations and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
• Use various testing instruments and tools to verify system functionality.
