    Employee Relations Manager

    About The Job

    • Lead fair treatment of employees in terms of Danone’s values and codes. Managing relationships with unions, handling internal complaints and representing the business at CCMA.

    Social Partner Relations

    1. Develop, negotiate and implement social plan, related HR policies and guidelines, accordingly to the Group policies & conventions, the country legal frame and the CBU strategy and objectives
    2. Define the social plan and co-build with the employee representatives the social roadmap to support the CBU strategy and objectives, in line with Danone culture and values
    3. Support the business transformation and organization evolutions with the relevant social plan (from the announcement to the management of the social consequences)
    4. Monitor labour relations climate and identify risks and strategies to mitigate the risks
    5. Manage the process of negotiation between the company and the Union, on substantive and general industrial relations issues and agreements.
    6. Employee Relations Management
    7. Provide advice on all labour related matters and represent the company at the CCMA
    8. Facilitate compliance on all labour relations acts, legislation, and processes
    9. Train line managers on employee relations matters
    10. Maintain a Social Dashboard reporting system
    11. Employment Equity
    12. Compile Employment Equity reports and track progress on implementation
    13. Manage and track employment barriers
    14. Oversee and lead BBBEEE certification

    About you

    • Qualification(s)
      • Degree in HR/Labour Relations or relevant equivalent qualification
    • Experience
      • 5 years + work experience on all facets of Labour relations management
