Employee Relations Specialist at Derivco

Key Requirements

• Relevant legal / HR Degree or Diploma
• Admission as an Attorney- advantageous
• Minimum 8 years relevant employee relations experience
• HR generalist experience - advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of all relevant legislation (LRA; BCE; OHSA; EEA; SDA)
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to build strategic working relationships
• Demonstrated ability to align strategic objectives with ER solutions
• Client focus and service orientation
• MS Office skills must be good (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook)
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities
• Leadership experience advantageous
• International labour experience advantageous
   

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting HR Business Partners in handling Employee relations issues
• Compiling and submitting Employment Equity reports and plans
• Facilitating the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging workgroup.
• Continuously reviewing our HR practices, policies and processes to ensure that we remain compliant with all relevant labour and data legislation including the BCEA, LRA and POPI.
