A National Diploma in Engineering. Three (3) years of technical (Engineering) experience. Compulsory registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineering Technician. The disclosure of a valid unexpired drivers license.
Duties
Perform duties in the Free State Region Office in the Directorate: Infrastructure Development & Maintenance with a particular emphasis on the management, implementation, supervision, and monitoring of the Regional Bulk Infrastructure Grant (RBIG), Water Services Infrastructure Grant (WSIG), Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG), Buckets Eradication Programme (BEP) and other civil engineering projects.
It will be required from the incumbent to manage and monitor projects contractually, financially, and technically. An intimate knowledge of the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and the Guidelines for Human Settlement, Planning & Design (“Red Book”) are a requirement.
