Enrolled Nurse at Sibanye-Stillwater

Minimum Required Qualification:

• NQF5 Enrolled Nurse
• 2 years clinical experience including allocated years of training for Enrolled nurse
• Professional Enrolled/Registration with the South African Nursing Council

The Appointee should:

• Professional Enrolled/Registration with the South African Nursing Council
• Medically fit to work in specific business area
• Clear Security screening record
• Valid Driver's license(if applicable)

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Certificate in ICD 10 Coding
• Certificate in Clinical Technical skills,Vision,Heat Tolerance, Test , Audiology , Spirometry
• Certificate in HIV , TB including any related DOH health programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice as an Enrolled Nurse within a team of Health professionals as per Scope of Nursing but is not limited to interact within the multidisciplinary team practitioners , Human resource and safety professionals.
• Practice health care with a focus on patient and centricity and patient safety always.
• Demonstrate knowledge of insight into legislation relevant to the practice of nursing and health care in the Republic of SA.
• Identify legislation and policy guidelines relevant to general health nursing.
• Monitored to implement primary health care and Occupational healthcare strategy for promoting health at all levels of care.
• Promote health communication and health literacy for behavior change.
• Participate with the implementation of programmes that create an environment that provides balance between work, person, and family.
• Advocate for the awareness of health care users in terms of health care users in terms of health hazards and health facility risk based on the health risk assessment specific to each health environment.
• Support healthcare users and their families in identifying health risks in their environment and making informed choices about measures to prevent illness and promote health.
• Assess and plan for the health care information needs and respond accordingly.
• Assess the health care and nursing care needs of individuals and groups.
• Review nursing practice continuously against professional standards and within the relevant context .
• Ensure continued delivery of Health services.
