Environmental Health Officer at Sekhukhune District Municipality

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or B-Tech degree in Environmental Health; Registration as an Environmental Health Practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa for independent practice; Peace Officer: Registration with Department of Agriculture if applicable; Driver Licence: EB; and Computer literacy: MS Office. 

EXPERIENCE: 

• 2 - 5 years ‘relevant experience required Legislative requirement: Completed 1 year minimum community services  

SUMMARY OF CORE FUNCTIONS:

• Uses interpersonal communication and group work skills to facilitate individuals, groups, communities and organisations to improve health and reduce health inequities. Contributes to the development and dissemination of health promotion evaluation and research processes
