Equity Head of Digital e-Learning at AES Africa

The Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Digital/e-Learning to be the custodian of incorporating innovative online learning best practices, student engagement strategies, educational technology, and best practices to design and enhance critical learning experience and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, best practices, research, support and strategic guidance related to digital learning to build a high performing Learning and Development function across the business
• Analyse key metrics to deliver insights to learning stakeholders (data and reporting)
• Translate organisational strategy into appropriate Digital Learning and Development strategies and plans for group-wide initiatives
• Lead the design and creation of digital learning solutions, including micro-learning content, leveraging high-quality content authoring software
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with relevant professional bodies and/or regulatory bodies (i.e INSETA, Actuarial Institute).

Experience

• 8 - 10 years L&D experience of which at least 3 years is at a management level
• Experience in L&D Management, liaising and operating with senior Managers
• Experience of financial services and/or insurance industry (preferred)
• Experience in implementing e-learning solutions
• Experience in digital learning

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Human Resources or Learning and Development or related field (Essential)
