Role Purpose

• To research and analyse various economic sectors, provide advice and reporting to the Investment Committee on findings in the management of client portfolios

Role Responsibilities

• Continuously focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances
• Identify and implement on opportunities for revenue growth in order to deliver on sales targets
• Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties
• Manage the client’s portfolio in line with the mandate
• Conduct research to uncover investment related insights
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG
• Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification - B Degree in Finance, Economics or Investment Management
• Preferred Qualification - CFA or MBA
• Experience - Ten (10) years’ relevant experience
• Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent
