The purpose of the role is to develop accurate, fully compliant, and competitive tenders, through thorough and advanced estimating practice. Applicants should have appropriate experience, across a range of projects, with a medium to large construction company. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The best candidates will be detailed and organized team players with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations. Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• At least 5 years' experience as an Estimator
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the estimating function in the construction industry.
• Minimum 5 years on site experience in the construction industry.

Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical discipline and the capacity to understand unique project requirements.
• Knowledge of civil engineering and building construction productivities.
• Sound knowledge of standard contract documentation and specifications.
• Ability to review the tender documentation and identify any potential risks and/or gains.
• Advanced Proficiency of CCS estimating and planning modules.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word & Outlook).
