    Job Function

    The incumbent will serve as the single point of contact for all D&IT requirements, demand, and solutions for the respective operating company. Accountable to ensure the delivery of the D&IT solutions to the operating company, while managing the operating company expectations, demand, solutions and building strategic partnership. This role focuses on the business value chain in designing, building , deploying and supporting Digital & IT solutions that enable value creation for end-customers and for the achievement of targeted strategic outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • To lead the effort to understand the specific operating company’s needs and identify how best to meet those needs within D&IT,

    • Provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks for the development of solutions architecture (i.e. marrying business processes to technology components/solutions that best enable them) in support of the Enterprise Architecture

    • Maintain demand process for new proposals with overall responsibility for steering these proposals through the early phases of approval with well-defined value/business cases.

    • Develop and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, actively manage their expectations & monitor satisfaction levels.

    • Continuously research latest market and industry technology trends and provide a point of view to the operating company on helping them achieve faster time to market/lower cost base based on the latest technology

    • Drive adoption and ongoing competitive use of data, information and digital technologies to solve business problems, build competitive advantage and create market differentiation.

    • Aim to improve the strategic partnership between company & D&IT, customer satisfaction, effectively control and forecast operating company demand, govern and quality assure all D&IT activities delivered to the operating company.

    Drive or Lead:

    • Business requirements in respect of D&IT improvements within the operating company

    • Monitor the current-state solutions portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.

    • The creation of the IT budget for the operating company and integrate it with the overall D&IT budget.

    • The performance of existing plans and D&IT systems in terms of contribution to operating company objectives, functionality, stability and value for the operating company • effort to analyse and research new and existing D&IT products, procedures, and/or workflow needs associated with operating company systems

    • Effort to work with operating company to identify functional and technical requirements

    • Effective D&IT decision making to achieve revenue, profitability and strategic goals in line with the operating company strategic plans

    • The identification and capture of demand, creation of value cases and collation of the D&IT demand pipeline for the operating company

    Qualifications

    •  BSc (Hons) Computer Science or BSc (Hons) Information Systems Technology or BCom (Hons) Informatics

    • ITIL Foundations

    • Management Development Programme Business Relationship Management Professional (Desirable)

    Skilled and requirements

    • Up to 6 years of experience in managing relationships with internal business/functional customers with relevant experience in IT Business Relationship Management.
