External Sales Representative (JB5189) at Kontak Recruitment

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience in a Material Handling and Processing or industrial environment.
• Ability to generate and close sales through strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Technical aptitude or the ability to learn about specialized conveyor belting, transmission components, rollers and other related products.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented baby with a drive to exceed sales targets.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively for client visits.
• Highly reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Persistent and tenacious—able to push through challenges and close deals.
• Organized and detail-oriented to manage client relationships effectively.
• Excellent communicator who can engage clients professionally and confidently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify and target potential customers to expand the company’s client base.
• Promote and sell a range of specialized conveyor belting, transmission components, rollers and other related products, including components used in manufacturing and production environments.
• Conduct site visits to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product recommendations.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
