Factory Manager (OOM) at WHM Recruitment Advisors’

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Factory/Production Management role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows
• Experience with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement
• Machinery and equipment management knowledge
• Ability to monitor production output and improve efficiency
• Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP systems, reporting tools)
• Ability to oversee full factory operations (end-to-end production)
• Ability to manage production targets, deadlines, and output
• Ability to implement and maintain quality standards
• Experience in resource management (labour, materials, equipment)
• Cost control and waste reduction capabilities
• Reporting to senior management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Hands-on, operational management style (not purely administrative)
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Ability to work under pressure in a production environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) knowledge
• Labour Relations Act (LRA)
• Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
• Understanding of ISO / Quality Management Systems (advantageous)
