The Field Service Technician will form part of the Field services teams to serve the OEM equipment on various sites.
Awareness of financial implications through ensuring site and commissioning costs are within the estimated value by the control of sub suppliers site costs, managing site instructions and extra claims and controlling actual service hours within the estimated hours.
Effective leadership through ensuring that site activities are carried out according to the required specifications and standards, and within the allowed time frame, maintaining high erection standards, ensuring parts are available on site as required and ensuring construction plant and labour is sufficient. Provide adequate supervision and attend site meetings and provide feedback to management on erection problems and progress.
To ensure equipment is operational as per design and that equipment is installed as per design, specifications and QCP.
Assist with commission equipment to ensure operations are within design specifications and safety standards then handover to client with necessary documentation and provide the necessary close out reports.
What you bring
Qualified Artisan (Fitter or Millwright)
Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry
Experience in maintenance, repairs and inspection of industrial equipment (SAG & Ball Mills, HPGR-High Pressure Grinding Rolls)
Site legal compliance training
Technical Report Writing experience
Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power-point, Outlook)
