Job Responsibilities

• Drive effective management of the Unallocated Deposits account
• Accurate clearing of the Unallocated and Bank shadow accounts (within Sales Finance scope) daily.
• Complete, valid and accurate Unallocated deposit allocation
• Update and maintain Masterfile for Unallocated account to provide visibility of older items for investigation and allocation.
• Identifying root causes or patterns of Unallocated items and driving a solution thereof with the regions.
• Ensure bank statements are uploaded daily
• Check that bank statements provided by GBS are in the correct format and complete.
• Preparation of Unallocated deposits slide for National Credit Committee (NCC).
• Assist with preparation of monthly reconciliations.
• Effective management of the monthly reporting.
• Effective management of banking queries
• Maintain a professional relationship with the various banks to ensure customer and regional queries are dealt with timeously and efficiently.
• Analysis and confirmation of Deposits not reflecting and Misallocated deposits on Driver/Rep balances.

Knowledge/Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance related field.
• Good understanding of the commercial business and an understanding of all a interrelationship/interfaces between customers, field force and accounts receivable

Experience

• Understanding of marketing and DSS processes.
• Strong IT skills on Accounting software (preferably SAP Financial Modules, Advanced MS Excel)
• Around 2 years of experience in Finance (Accounts Receivable).
