About the Role

• We are seeking a Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide insights for financial planning.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities by ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
• Help maintain financial databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing and organizing documents.
• Stay current on industry best practices and contribute to improving financial processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of working with financial data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software; familiarity with accounting systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in finance or accounting is desirable.
• Familiarity with basic financial principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Exposure to data analysis tools or financial management software.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
