To report on the Financial Performance of Group Finance.
Responsible for group financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory submissions across the FirstRand Operation entity included in Group Finance.
Prepare accurate flash and monthly reporting, including the preparation of consolidation and elimination entries.
Prepare forecasts and budgets and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters.
Provide detailed analysis and commentary to senior management and the CFO on monthly, quarterly, interim and year end results.
Prepare monthly journals, equity-accounted earnings and consolidation packs.
Performing internal financial control reviews, and process documentation.
Prepare interim and annual financial statements.
Provide technical accounting and problem-solving support to group entities.
Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
Provide high level reviews of other group entities that are consolidated.
Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation.
Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
