Financial Accountant - Johannesburg at Unique Personnel

Job Description    
Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company's financial health by directing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. 
• Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports on profit/loss, cash flow, and financial forecasts. 
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements. 
• Develop strategies for financial growth, manage investment portfolios, and evaluate financial risks. 
• Work with senior management to develop business strategies and financial plans. 
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial outcomes and support decision-making. 
• Oversee the Stores/Inventory department to ensure proper inventory management, stock control, and alignment with financial objectives.

Inherent Requirements    
Education :

• Diploma /Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Experience: 

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in finance management or a similar role. 
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. 
• Hands-on experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). 
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial laws, and risk management practices. 
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices to align inventory processes with financial objectives.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. 
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
